The staff were great and the hotel was lovely and characterful with amazing views over Llandudno. Our room was at the back of the house so we had a garden view but this wasn't a problem as it was just a base for one night and we were too busy out and about exploring the lovely seaside town. Breakfast was lovely and freshly prepared, and the room it was served in had great views out over the bay. There were several comfy seating areas in the main reception area with books and games, although we didn't need to use them as the weather was glorious. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk of both the cable car and the tram up onto Great Orme and a 5 minute walk down to the beach, although it is on a steepish hill so the walk back is a bit of a slog, but the views make it worth it.

Beautiful Hotel. It retains all its original features. It has lots of places where you can sit and chat or just relax. There is a well stocked bar if you fancy a drink. This hotel is up behind the Grand Hotel and the views from the sea view rooms are just stunning. Our Room was very clean and warm. The Hotel staff can not help you enough to help make your stay a pleasure. For Breakfast you can choose a continental or a cooked breakfast and lots of fruit and choice of yoghurts and they are really lovely. Thank you for making our 10 year wedding anniversary such a pleasure and for looking after us so kindly we loved it so much,we stayed two more nights ! Best regards

Absolutely stunning views of Llandudno Bay and Happy Valley from Room 24. Easy check in. Comfortable double bed, airy room and super huge windows to showcase that fab view. Good selection of continental and full Welsh breakfast with hot drinks and juices. Sausage for the dogs. We would definitely return to this traditional, comfortable hotel. We didn't feel the walk up from Llandudno was an issue. You would have to be very unfit not to manage. We parked on the road just down from the hotel. The views and being right next to Happy Valley Gardens with the goats grazing and the Cable Car nearby made it feel special

I totally love this hotel.... The view is the best in Llandudno, I was a bit out of puff walking Up the hill but that's cos I'm chubby.. I stayed in room 23 with not only a sea view but a view of the whole of Llandudno.. Love the old antique furniture.. How a hotel used to be. If U want a sanitised modern hotel go to a Travelodge or a Hilton..Staff amazing.... BREAKFAST INCREDIBLE.. COMFY BED NICE THICK MATRESS.... I would come again and try one of the three sister hotels.. I cannot thank staff enough for a memorable few days away..

Fabulous character property with lovely features; leaded windows, fireplaces for example. Warm and cosy with comfy beds. Kettles, tea, coffee and biscuits in every room. The views are fantastic! Staff were so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent!!! Full English, plus all the cereals, yoghurt, fruit and nuts, croissants and drinks from an easy to use coffee machine. There's also a small bar if you fancy a little tipple before bed. Sheep wandered down the road outside every morning.
